These A4 montage books have been produced for many years now. Inspired by my travels, meeting people, passion and quirky ideas. All produced by hand, photographs are printed by myself in the darkroom. Spread over four website pages, my on going fascination with life….

Magazines and publishers approach me to illustrate an article or story. This process can be sparked off by something I have created or a new work, which can involve pure collage, assemblages or photomontages. Private clients usually approach me for a commissioned portrait with ephemera to illustrate a persons’ special event or occasion, or create a one off conceptual art piece. These are always a collaborative affair and can turn into something quite beautiful.
artwork; an artistic production: material, such as a drawing or photograph created to be beautiful or express an important idea or feeling: an artistic work.
This collection of artworks involve using darkroom prints, mounted onto marine plywood. The photographs are pieced together, sometimes with different exposures and toning, then mixed with ephemera, paint and art materials. The idea is to add a variety of elements to make the photograph into a unique art piece to hang on the wall, not behind glass.

My portrait style mostly shot on film and occasionally digitally. I shoot on a variety of analogue cameras from 35mm to an 8x10 Tachihara camera, using x-ray film. Showcasing personal and commissioned work. I am always looking to try and take on a different approach to portraiture, but must always have a graphic and timeless feel.

35mm/c41; colour negative 35mm film processed in c41 chemistry and printed, analogue colour photography.
These images are an on going project usually shot on a Lomo camera and assorted 35mm film cameras. I’m really trying to capture interesting places, events and experiences, playing with composition and lighting. The Lomo shoots in very low light and you always get interesting results with affects in colour distortions and vignetting.
